PARC GÜELL CONFLUENCE

Since the arrival of the TGV in Girona and the opening of a subterranean part of the train line, we are able to reconnect the Güell River to the city. One of the main stakes is the realisation of a linear park that connects the center with the surrounding open spaces.

The project is based on:

1. Preserving the Güell as a space of urban “continuity”

2. Recovering the meandering outline of the river and preserve the "dead arms"

3. Increasing the hydraulic section of the Güell

4. Anticipating the future stage layout between C/Salt? and the Carretera de BCN

5. Pre-vegetableize

6. Celebrate the passage of the TAV through "micro-interventions"

7. Modular visual relationships with industrial experience
